Cursor spazzing out on Android

Any time I try to type the cursor backtracks and glitches some words, the inputs are broken

Same. Certain words seem to add a period after the word ive typed in.

I have a similar issue but after backspacing. Then whenever I try to delete or add a letter the cursor deletes or adds something behind itself as it jumps backwards (?). It's hard to describe but it's super annoying. Android as well.
