Instead of categorizing them all as mainline. It just makes harder to scroll seeing unwanted non-mainline basic cars.

I would like to add to this and request a rarity for redlines too. Theres enough cars, variations, and collectors to justify it I think. It could apply to any HW made during the redline era, not just the regualr cars.
Would also be nice to have "limited edition/promotional" rarities for HW and MBX to cover the random cars and sets each brand has done over the years. Would cover stuff like promos and cars with RR released before premiums. Also old store exclusives for brands not listed (e.x Toys R Us, Hills, Ames)

Any acceleracers fans? I feel like AR was big enough to be its own collection, which deserves a badge! I I would love to see AN acceleracers emblem for any AR cars

I believe Acceleracers cars / packages (2 packs with VHS cassettes or comic books) strictly designed for the movie/series should have their own rarity too! not the mainline recolors, either just the ones made specifically for the series

Hotwheels needs 100% Hotwheels for the old premium cars
And Matchbox needs Models of Yesteryear, which was an adult only line for 4 decades.

The difficulty is that some castings were rereleased in the mainline after the first edition sets released. If I have the 2025 RD-06 mainline for example, do I get the badge for that, or is that listed as an AR when it's in the mainline?

Atony1400 this is a great point! I believe that the badge/icon should apply to any car/casting (any color/variant) that was used in the films, but if it helps to be more organized, I wouldn’t mind just the badge for the original releases from back in the day!

Yes please! I feel like they deserve it since it’s based on a whole series

Stas also some cars are solely meant for AR, while other (ex. Chicane) have appeared outside of AR without the AR paint jobs. I feel like the cars that do belong to AR should be labeled in some way
